Hindu - Irish Fusion Wedding - Kilhey Court - Vicki and Ravi

Vicki and Ravi met at University and on their first date Vicki took her sister Emma with them! Although Ravi thought it was a bit weird, he still had a nice time and they ended up on going on many more adventures together, music festivals, travelling the world and generally having loads of fun and making each other laugh a lot.

It was on a trip to New York when Ravi popped the question in Central Park, and of course Vicki said yes… Which leads here, to this Epic Wedding Day at Kilhey Court Hotel in Wigan. A love so spectacular that they didn’t just marry each other once! But they went and did it twice in one day! A beautiful classic white wedding ceremony with a string quartet, readings and music performed by Vicki’s family members followed by wonderful colourful Hindu ceremony, where Ravi arrived smiling nervously on a finely dressed white horse, before entering the venue with his family and the rest of the guests as they danced into Kilhey court to the beat the of procession music. Greeted by the UK’s first Female Hindu Priest and a room bursting with all the colours of nature, ready to being joined together again with a spectacular Hindu Ceremony.

This wedding was so much fun to photograph, also I must take this opportunity to shout out to my Awesome Second Shooter Katy Mutch who is always amazing and did an epic job as always.

The rest of the team that worked so hard to make this day as awesome as it was were…

Islington Mill Wedding Manchester - Erica and Liam

Islington Mill Epic Wedding.

When I first met Erica and Liam and heard that their wedding was going to be at Islington Mill in Manchester, I was instantly excited! Islington Mill isn’t very photographer’s dream venue as it’s pretty dark inside, but for what the venue lacks in natural light it makes up for in character. You know when you are shooting a wedding at Islington Mill you are going to be in for one hell of a wedding! That is what we had, there were delays that held the ceremony back over an hour (luckily Erica and Liam had done the legal bit the day before) but when the ceremony finally happened it was perfect and it was completely Erica and Liam, chilled out and fun. As the evening drew in wedding guests helped themselves to hand made Pizza’s and amazing Vegetarian and Vegan food from Liverpool Restaurant Maray’s Food truck! Check out that Cauliflower! (I had some and it was amazing) Guests also helped themselves to truck loads of cake, cheese and wine from the white room inside the Mill. After some beautiful heartfelt and hilarious speeches from Liam and Erica’s Dad Jim, it was smash bang into the party which started off with an amazing brass brand. EPIC, EPIC Wedding. Manchester Wedding: Beatriz and Brendan's Urban; Music, Graffiti, Skate Boarding and Break Dancing?*

When I first met Beatriz and Brendan at their home in Chorlton, Manchester it was clear that the Manchester’s Music Scene had played a big part in them getting together. Beatriz and Brendan have been together for 15 awesome years, their love story began one sweaty noisy night at Manchester’s Road House Music venue where they first smacked eyes on each other, over a crowded room packed with dedicated music lovers and sparks flew. 15 years on they are still besotted with each other, Brendan hitting top groom points for surprising Beatriz on their wedding day with a gospel choir, a personalised graffiti mural and a swish chauffer driven Jag to wizz them around town.

*They aren't really breakdancing they are just shit at handstands ;)
