So the Spring Summer Fashion Season and Wedding Season have kicked off all at once. I’ll be honest this blog has taken a hit for it, there’s been a lot of running around lately, wedding meetings, recces, shoots, weddings, more meetings, edits, edits and you guessed it more edits. Thankfully I do have plenty of photographs to show you over the next few weeks because of it and here’s just a little taster and the amazing Simi and Elliot modelling for Fly53 last week. More final images in the blog next week… Stay tuned. Stay cool. ;) x

WEDDING: Jessica and Leon, Cross Atlantic Love... Xx
Jessica and Leon’s wedding was so special for many reasons. Jessica used to live in San Francisco before she met Leon and was a successful wedding planner over there, meaning their wedding was a perfectly planned affair, with carefully selected venues and suppliers all in the beautiful setting of York one of the most picturesque cities in England.
So all in the name of love Jessica was leaving her career, beautiful friends, family and the San Francisco sunshine to come and make her nest with Leon in England, but as you can see when these two are together no matter what the weather is doing the sun is always shining on them.
The emotion ran high through the day, beautiful and heartfelt speeches from Leon and Jessica’s family and Jessica’s best friend Kelly had me tearing up hiding behind my camera, but the most gorgeous thing about the day was just how obviously, unmistakably head over heels in love with one and other Jessica and Leon are and although Jessica’s friends and family would be returning home without her, how everyone was so genuinely happy that they against all geographical odds Leon and Jessica had found one and other, got through all the form filling, visas and red tape and heartache that comes with long distance love and stepped out in the beginning of their new adventure together as husband and wife.

It’s week two of having a dodgy leg and although it’s healing and feeling much better than last week, I’m still pretty house bound unless someone is willing to drive me around or walk really, really slowly from place to place. It’s been a little bit annoying as I’ve been itching to play with my new lens that arrived this week! I just about managed to get out into my garden and have a little play, I was pretty limited, there was no rolling around on the or climbing up anything, but I did manage to get this little set of photos. Hopefully next week I will have managed to get a little bit more adventurous!
Love xx

So this blogs only been going for a few weeks and I already feel like it might be getting a bit boring... Lets face it, even with pretty pictures sometimes a week if the life of me isn’t too much to shout about! Especially at the moment while I'm limping about the house and not getting outside very much (don't worry... if you were... it's only a sprain!) So I thought I’d bring a little bit more structure (kind of) and I’m going to bring topics in on some weeks, like food, travel, family, birds, etc… For the slow weeks, giving you all a little bit more reason to come and visit me and my humble little blog, I can see some have you have been reading (well I suppose all of you if you are actually reading this!) and that’s quite exciting for me, as I wasn’t sure if anyone would, maybe my Nan and a few of my mates! Hi Nan :) But thank you for reading, it means a lot and I’ll try and keep it as interesting as I can. If any of you can think of anything you’d like to see a blog about then drop me an email and I’ll see what I can do.

So this week I spent most of my time editing the photos from the gorgeous Winter Wedding of Jessica and Leon I did in York the previous week, it was a really special wedding for a lot of reasons, not only were Jessica and Leon totally gorgeous to look at but they were getting married in one of the most beautiful cities in England. I won’t spill the beans on all the true magic of the day just yet, keep your peepers ready for a romantic photographic feast later on in the month…
